Mandible Hypoplasia is a common feature of Treacher Collins Syndrome (TCS). The mandible is malformed and the angle can be underdeveloped or totally absent. The symptoms are best visible at the facial profile.

Other sypmtoms of TCS:

  • Antimongoloid slanting papebral fissures
  • Lower eye lid coloboma
  • Malformation of auricles
  • External ear canal defect
  • Cleft palate
  • Hearing loss
  • Visual loss
