Digital Modeling of Primary Child Health

At the LOINC conference in Atlanta, USA, Liesbeth Siderius and Sahan Perera gave their presentation 'Digital Modeling of Primary Child Health’ on Wednesday October 18, 2023.

The digital child health model combines codes as the ICD, ICF , SNOMED and LOINC following a growing and developing child. The LOINC has a specific value in child health data since numeric data such as height, weight, head circumference measurements, and can be followed in time and place. A proof of concept for a comprehensive implementation guide that harnesses the power of LOINC and HL7/FHIR standards, facilitating the seamless integration of WHO's quality healthcare standards into diverse primary care environments for children and adolescents, is provided.
